The Psychological Corporation index of public opinion
Abstract
This survey, the 11th in Series B, made during October 1944, consisted of 5,000 personal interviews which were gathered in 113 cities and towns by 437 interviewers and 115 supervising psychologists. In response to questions concerning wages and cost of living, 77% said they were more prosperous than in 1942. The data compiled on postwar jobs show considerable interest in private, business, and government planning.
