Reviews the book, by Robert H. Gault (1923). The book is intended for teachers, students, and the general reader. Without the index and the appendices it contains 303 pages. Ninety-seven pages are devoted to the discussion of fundamental ideas, 55 pages to the presentation and discussion of what might be called fundamental data, and 151 pages to the discussion of social phenomena. The fundamental ideas reviewed in this book are behavior, consciousness, social behavior, social consciousness, the sense of social unity, instinct, motives, and suggestion.Preview Only.
