Abstract
<p>Welcome to the first issue of Volume 6 of Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts ! This volume will be the swan song for this editorial team, and although we are not ready to say goodbye just yet, we do feel a bit like proud parents sending our youngster off to school for the first time. As we look at the list of authors and articles in this issue, we see an exciting combination of both scholars and work on aesthetics, creativity, and the arts—and that is how it should be!</p> <p>Life has gotten tougher for us as editors in one respect, a positive one. The number of high quality submissions to PACA has increased dramatically; we have had to turn down articles that we would like to publish, as space is becoming much more competitive. We have received more pages from APA, which is great; and with our field being so vibrant right now, we are filling those pages with strong scholarship from all corners. As the reviewing load has increased, we would like to thank our reviewers for responding so well to our ever more frequent requests for help!</p> <p>This issue presents 10 articles on
