Abstract

Comments on the article by Ruth Brill Gross which discusses supportive therapy for depressed college students. The current author recommends an uncovering, focused, experiential-cognitive, time-limited "crisis intervention" approach for college students who may become depressed when they acknowledge (to themselves) that they have not succeeded in being accepted by their peers.
