Notices Request for Manuscripts: Future SHAW Volumes The editorial board of SHAW : The Annual of Bernard Shaw Studies seeks article-length manuscripts for upcoming volumes. SHAW 34 will be a theme issue devoted to "Shaw and Health," with Christopher Wixson as guest editor. SHAW 34 seeks to address Shaw's views on and personal experiences with any aspect of physical and mental health: vegetarianism and other diets, vivisection, vaccination, smallpox and other diseases, medication, illness, death and dying, mortality and longevity, euthanasia, doctors and the medical profession, hospitals, operations, health care, osteopathy, public sanitation, personal hygiene, pollution, exercise (walking, cycling, swimming, etc), alcohol and tobacco, drugs and addiction, venereal diseases, birth control, psychiatry and psychoanalysis, and related topics. Inquiries and manuscript submissions should be sent to cmwixson@eiu.edu or mailed to Dr. Christopher Wixson, Department of English, Eastern Illinois University, 600 Lincoln Avenue, Charleston, IL 61920, USA. Beginning in 2015, SHAW will be published bi-annually. SHAW 35.1 (June 2015) will be a theme issue devoted to "Shaw and Modernity," with Lawrence Switzky as guest editor. SHAW 35.1 will consider Shaw's significance as an artist and critic during the emergence of artistic, social, political, and cultural modernity.
