Peter D. Cameron, International Energy Investment Law: The Pursuit of Stability
Abstract
Journal of World Energy Law and Business, 2011, Vol. 4, No. 1 Another interesting issue which the author has not dealt with is the prominence of common supply policy under the Euratom Treaty, particularly the âCorfu policyâ in EU external relations concerning energy security. However, these shortcomings are minor in comparison to the overall complexity of the book, which generally provides a good overview on all basic legal problems arising from the use of nuclear energy. Lastly, it must be stressed that this book contains a comprehensive overview of existing literature in various areas of nuclear law, found in the footnotes. The literature referred to is updated and contains most recent as well as classical nuclearlaw-related writing. In conclusion: given the renewed interest in nuclear power and discussions on the ânuclear renaissanceâ all over the world, Tromansâ book is both timely and informative on both international and European nuclear legislation. I gladly recommend it as a vital and comprehensive read. Jakub Handrlica Charles University, Prague à The Authors 2011. Published by Oxford University Press on behalf of the AIPN.
