Applied Economic Perspectives and Policy (2010) volume 32, number 1, pp. 1â 3. doi:10.1093/aepp/ppp015 As many readers will already know, with this issue the Review of Agricultural Economics becomes Applied Economic Perspectives and Policy. With the new title comes a new mission and a new editorial team. The new AEPP editorial team comprises Tom Vukina and Timothy Park (Co-Editors for submitted articles) and Ian Sheldon (Featured Articles Editor). We would like to take this opportunity to thank John Beghin and George Frisvold who have stepped down as Editors. From 2008 and 2009 (volumes 30 and 31) RAE published ninety-two articles and we sincerely thank John and George for their support of the journal. AEPP will publish articles that achieve two objectives: to synthesize, integrate and analyze areas of current applied economic research within the mission of the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (AAEA) in order to inform the decision-making and policy-making community; and to stimulate linkages between sub-ï¬elds of agricultural and applied economics in a way that illuminates and focuses future research and increases knowledge among researchers about the impact of public policy.
