Abstract
The European Journal of Echocardiography is published on behalf of the European Association of Echocardiography. It publishes high-quality, peerreviewed articles on the ultrasonic examination of the cardiovascular system, including ischaemic heart disease, valve disease, cardiomyopathy, congenital heart disease, vascular disease, etc., using: precordial and transoesophaegal echocardiography; stress and contrast echocardiography; Doppler applications; three dimensional echocardiography; vascular and Intravascular ultrasound; tissue characterisation; new technologies. The journal features: original research articles, technical evaluations, case reports on echocardiograms, reviews, guest editorials, and letters to the Editor A subscription to the European Journal of Echocardiography comprises 10 issues (includes European Journal of Echocardiography Supplements). All prices include postage, and for subscribers outside the UK delivery is by Standard Air. Advance Access contains papers that have reached corrected proof stage, but have not yet been included within an issue. Advance Access is updated daily.
