Abstract
In the title compound, C4H12N22+.2C7H5O5-.2H2O, the cation lies on a centre of symmetry. The crystal structure is stabilized by various intermolecular O-HO and N-HO hydrogen bonds, and by intermolecular aromatic - interactions, with a centroid-to-centroid distance of 3.348 (2) A between the benzene rings of neighbouring anions.
