Hepatic artery pseudoaneurysm complicating laparoscopic cholecystectomy: Management with transcatheter embolisation
Abstract
Summary Vascular complications of laparoscopic cholecystectomy are encountered with increasing frequency. We report a patient with a pseudoaneurysm of the right hepatic artery who presented with haemobilia following laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The patient was managed successfully with transarterial selective embolisation and remains free of symptoms 11 months later.
