Abstract

The author regrets that there was an error on page 521 of the above paper. On the third line of the second paragraph the word 'microbe' should read 'virus' so the sentence reads: 'Koch's postulates were formulated by Robert Koch—a German physician—in 1882, and specify six criteria for confirming whether a virus causes a disease.'
