A case of traumatic bilateral fistula between the lacrimal sac and the maxillary sinus diagnosed by dacryocystography
Abstract
A case of post-traumatic bilateral fistula between the lacrimal sac and the maxillary sinus is described. The preoperative diagnosis of this abnormal communication was possible only by means of dacryocystography. One such case is discussed briefly. The diagnostic importance of dacryocystography in trauma or inflammation of the lacrimal sac region is emphasized.
