Public Relations Review 32 (2006) 445â516 Introduction The 2006 Public Relations Review Bibliography issue provides a resource for public relations scholars, practitioners, and students. Its contents include abstracts of articles addressing the most current public relations research, commentary, and pedagogy. Public Relations Review is the only journal published ï¬ve times a year that is devoted to public relations theory, practice, and commentary. My goal as the editor has been to focus on the extended family of public relations peer reviewed journals including Public Relations Review, Journal of Public Relations Research, Management Communication Quarterly, Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly, and the professional outlets including Public Relations Quarterly, Public Relations Tactics, and The Public Relations Strategist. This yearâs issue also provides abstracts from the broader business journals including Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Business Communication. I have also included general sources such as The Economist and The Wall Street Journal. There are a few changes to the bibliography issue this year. After a careful read of the previous issues, I have decided to collapse several categories together so that articles were easier to ï¬nd. I added several new sections this year to the bibliography issue including activism, leadership,
