R E H S E Die Untersuchung simulierter Spikefolgen einer Herzschrittmacherzelle Es wurden einige Methoden der Zeitreihenanalyse an simulierten Herzschrittmacherspikeserien demonstriert. Aus der Simulation und der Analyse der Intervallfolgen lassen sich folgende Schlüsse ziehen: 1. Mehrere einander ergänzende Methoden sollten bei einer bestimmten Fragestellung zur Anwendung kommen, um Fehlinterpretationen zu vermeiden. 2. Für die Analyse echter biologischer Daten sollte möglichst viel a priori Information über den biologischen Punktprozeß zur Verfügung stehen. 3. Die detaillierte Analyse einer Zeitstruktur in einem biologischen Punktprozeßsignal kann die Suche und Auffindung der Ursache für diese Zeitstruktur ermöglichen. 4. Simulationsstudien bieten mögliche Erklärungen für experimentelle Ergebnisse und dienen gleichzeitig dazu, die Grenzen der analytischen Methoden abzustecken. The present study was undertaken in order to see what "kind and amount" of information about the mechanism of a point process can be obtained with a rather restricted set of methods for point process signal analysis.
