Obituary The board of editors and coeditors of the Journal of Perinatal Medicine mourns the death of one of its members, Dr. ZYGMUNT KORNACKI of Szczecin. Since the early 1960's ZYGMUNT KORNACKI had been an active coordinator in the international exchange of scientific Information in the area of perinatal medicine. To us, he not only represented Polish perinatal medicine but was also a valued partner in science and a personal friend. We shall cherish and honor his memory. Erich Salhig l Announcement The next International postgraduale course in current f ields of perinatal medicine will be held from 18th to 22nd January 1977 at the Frauenklinik Berlin-Neukölln Topics: 1. Consultation before pregnancy, abortion prevention program 2. Embryonal pharmacology 3. Prematurity and dysmaturity prevention program 4. Viral infections during pregnancy 5. Hypoxia during the perinatal period 6. Diabetes mellitus and pregnancy 7.
