One of the great things about attending ACM SIGGRAPH is education. Whether about hardware, software, artistic styles, techniques or the people who pioneered them, everyone is there to learn. Pursuing a traditional education outside of SIGGRAPH is a challenge that most industry professionals will agree is daunting. I am convinced that help has finally arrived in the form of a completely new style of instruction for Miami International University of Art & Design (MIU): Web-based learning. The Art Institutes' MIU now offers an on-line master of fine arts (M.F.A.) in computer animation.
