Visual Thesaurus A Product Review Sharon Worrell I'm a self-confessed internet junkie, and I'm rarely surprised by anything that I find nowadays. But when I stumbled across the Visual Thesaurus (www.visualthesaurus.com) I have to admit that I was intrigued. I love to write for fun, but invariably end up using the same old words. I'm not a huge fan of the traditional Roget's Thesaurus I'm embarrassed to say how long it took me to master it, but it was more than a couple of years so I thought it would be fun to see connected words laid out in a more visual manner. The front page struck me as being extremely cluttered and long, although the main feature, the visual search, is prominently displayed at the top of the page. The other links and articles looked interesting and can be perused at a later date. Annoyingly, you have to be a subscriber in order to read beyond the opening paragraph. I started with the word 'burst'. Not because I like it, but it happened to be part of a title of a book that was lying in front of me, on my desk. I typed
