Three Reviews of the Minnowbrook 98 Conference September 22-25, 1998 I-IE MZNNOWa~OOXCOt~FEgENCE is primarily an APL developers conference, concentrating on future trends and developments. Because of its focus, it has been known in recent years as the A P L F u t u r e s C o n f e r e n c e . The conference is held at a remote conference center beside Blue Mountain Lake in the middle of the six-million acre Adirondacks National Park in New York. The center is owned and operated by Syracuse University. Prof. Garth Foster has arranged these conferences for many years. Here are the viewpoints of three of the conference attendees: Ray Polivka, Stephen Mansour, and Otway Pardee.
