In a paper, entitled, "The Use of Computer-Aided Instruction in the Teaching of Macroeconomic Principles," which appeared in the January, 1981 SIGCUE Bulletin , I we reported the results of a study undertaken during the Spring semester of 1978 at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. These results indicated that CAI and traditional instructional methods performed equally well in teaching overall economic principles and in enhancing a student's analytical ability. Since the 1978 study contained a relatively small sample (n=76), we decided to repeat the study during the Spring semester of 1979 and thus enlarge our overall sample.
