Ann Janda ACM to change the name of the group to SIGCHI and that formal approval was expected in June 1982. Early issues of the newly named SIGC H I Bulletin averaged about 28 pages per issue and still looked like the old SIGSOC Bulletin with its pterodactyllike 1950's-modern logo running atop the cover.
