Box 218 Y o r k t o w n Heights, NY 10598 EMays~Watson.IBM.COM The Terminological Logic Users Workshop was organized "to promote information exchange on apphcation aspects of terminological logic in the broadest possible sense." Terminological logics axe knowledge representations which have evolved from the KL-One formalism. This workshop, held at the Technical University of Berlin on October 24 and 25, 1091, included about 40 researchers from Europe and the United States for a program which included presentations, demonstrations, working groups, and various cultural activities. The workshop was supported by the Esprit project AIMS, and organized by Christof Peltason, Kai yon Luck, and Carsten Kindermann. Here we provide a basic overview of the workshop and identify a few themes.
