INTRODUCTIO N The Workshop spent one half day session looking at outstanding issues in the core languag e and almost three days considering the three annexes : System Programming, Real-Time an d Distribution . Votes were taken and recorded where appropriate . Thirty four specialist were present including practitioners, compiler writers, academics, Ada9X distinguished reviewers , WG9 delegates, and members of the mapping team . All participants were invited following th e submission of either a full position paper or a position statement . Six position papers wer e chosen by the Programme Committee for inclusion in these proceedings . Although there were a number of specific technical issues raised (see below for a discussion o f these) the Workshop concluded by unanimously endorsing the annexes and re-stating thei r importance to Ada9X . The following issues gave rise to the most detailed discussions :
