The CHDL ERES is a register-transfer-language providing a nonprocedural description of hardware. This paper presents a short introduction to ERES and the description of registers, transfers and timing constraints. A global method for declaring storages is shown, which allows the modelling of multiple access as well as horizontal or vertical access.
