FROM THE EDITO R Our SIG seems to be progressing . A continuing need is for members . More of these will give enough o f a financial base to allow us to undertake activities of value to the membership . A form is included on th e back cover which may be copied and distributed to those who might be interested . We would especially like to reach more of our deaf and motor-impaired colleagues . This issue contains some material which might strike some of you as "ancient history . " However, i t gives a picture of our organizational structure and past activities of our SIG and perhaps will give yo u ideas for areas in which you can contribute . Anyone having material which you would like published can send it to me or to the appropriate Asso ciate Editor . Again, we would especially appreciate contributions for the sections " Especially for th e Deaf" and " Especially for the Motor-Impaired . " Lois Leffle r PAPER FROM ACM '7 3 The following paper by Philip Coleman of England was received too late to be included in the Proceed ings of ACM '
