Several years ago, our team began researche on problem solvers. The first program which issues from this is ARGOS-I CAY.76 CAY.78 (Automatic Robot Generating its Own Strategy). It was a program written in PASCAL which tried to simulated the the evolution of an elementary robot in an "a priori" unknown world. ARGOS-I built plans of movements. It ran into two steps: the first objective deciding, and second path determining in order to reach the objective. Then it monitored its own movement (simulated).
