PAGE 6 SECRETARY-TREASURER'S NEWSLETTE R This is a first report from the secretary-treasure r related to the state of SIGCAPH and activities . Note tha t due to the illnesses of Fred Petry, I have assumed th e duties of Newsletter editor . This is now a fairly routin e and standard occupation, but that it took a while for me t o get up to speed . If anyone has any questions, please con tact me . A routine now exists for standard entry of material submitted to the Newsletter editor . No delays o f any significance should occur from this time forward . Submissions to the Newsletter are encouraged from al l members and readers . There are three categories of submissions which we have : Notes and Gossip ; standard articles ; and professional development . Notes and Gossip may be submitted in any form and comprise product literature, comment s about what is going on in various fields and the like . Professional development includes courses, seminars, conferences, employment fairs, etc . and will be passed along t o the membership as soon as possible . Articles and technica l submissions should follow
