Jack is actively pursuing an MBA and is working on Joe Rigo's System Documentation group SICDOC. Edrice, our editor, is concerned about the human side of computing. She gave us all a strong indication of her interests in a short article in the last issue of IMR. You, our readers, will be hearing more from each of us as we address these interests and concerns in future issues of IMR and other activities of SIGCOSIM. This leads to the topic of IMR. The active manager is a very busy person and seems unable to devote much time to the publication of papers. Many of us involved with SIGCOSIM are buttonholing managers and those interested in management into telling, in print, their ideas. Progress has been slow, but we have unearthed some people.
