Every author of a introductory textbook has to strike a balance between the old and the new; the author has to decide which topics will be treated in the standard way and which ones will be treated in a more innovative way. In this review, we will try to describe the decisions the authors of this book made in this regard. The book has three parts, the rst of which is Graph Theory. On the whole, this is a thorough introduction to the eld, with the selection of topics and results in line with other standard textbooks.
