Journals ACM SIGAda Ada Letters Volume 15 Issue 4

Several graphical icons, representing new features introduced during the Ada 95 language-update process, are proposed. Uses of the proposed icons, in combination with traditional forms already familiar to Ada developers, are illustrated in various contexts. The new forms and illustrated uses are offered in the hope that de-facto notational standards will emerge and provide assistance in documentation, teaching and the development of visual design and browsing tools.
