MONI~UTH, N.J. -- Maj. Gen. A. B. Crawford, Jr., project manager for the Army Tactical Data Systems (ARTADS) project, said today that acceptance tests have been completed on the Control Data microprogrammable multi-processor computer system which will be installed at the ARTADS teleprocessing design center here. "Successful completion of the systems-level tests has placed the teleprocessing design center one step closer to activation," General Crawford said. The systems will emulate and test existing and planned Army tactical systems in the laboratory as a means of establishing performance criteria.
