Keynote Address Future Development of the Ada Language Robert Dewar (Ada Core Technologies) Dr. Robert B. K. Dewar is President/CEO and one of the founders of Ada Core Technologies, a steadily growing international software company focused on GNU/GCC-based Ada development environments (“GNAT”). Dr. Dewar has been an influential contributor to the Ada field since the early 1980s and is directly involved with the continued development of the GNAT technology. He is a Professor of Computer Science at New York University, a past chair of the Computer Science Department, and a former Associate Director of NYU’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. Additionally, Dr. Dewar is a highly-sought lecturer and has testified as an expert in computer copyright law in several cases.
