Although I~n encouraged that many periodicalsj~cus on social and ethical issues of computing (and related topics), I have often ~lt overwhelmed with the sheer volume of material that I really should be reading. Perhaps you have questions similar to mine: Which periodicals are most in tune with my interests? 7b which ones should I subscribe? Which ones should l scanj%m time to time in the library?Are there important ones that I don't even know about? In developing this article, Herman has made a truly extraordinary e~rt toward helping us answer these questions.
