[11 ], American Trans Air Inc. [2] Yale University [1] and Federated Department Stores [14]. The issues of CASE are not limited to the United States. Software developers in the United Kingdom [4], Hong Kong [4] and Slovenia [13] are also chronicled as users of CASE tools. Many articles emphasize the underlying organizational issues, cultural issues and methodologies, improved communications available through CASE assimilation, Information about the use of CASE tools can be found on-line on the Internet; one such application currently underway to improve the railroad signaling and train control in Europe involves the use of Rational Environment and Rational Compilation Integrator (tin) with DECAda [6]. A summary of CASE products is provided occasionally by ACM s Special Interest Group on Software Engineering (SIGSOFT) [8]. The SZGADA Quarterly, published by another Special Interest Group of the ACM, introduces new products providing CASE tool support to the ADA development environment [7]. Much information about
