If the hit counter on the web based SIGCSE Computing Laboratory Repository is any indication of the number of people looking for materials, then we had better get busy! A large number of people have been checking out the site and they are wondering where the lab projects and exercises are. Recent conversations with SIGCSE colleagues and with a number of people who manage similar sites have lead me to a few observations: o Many people are developing labs, but feel their materials are not worthy of inclusion in the Repository. Some colleagues are waiting for the peer review process to help them in receiving credit for their work in developing and testing the lab materials. A pro-active approach is mandatory to establish a library of materials. (removing references to the T.A., for example) would polish your submission. You needn't have written the
