General Interest Resources of Use to Computer Science Educators Ren~e McCauley Computer Science Department University of Southwestern Louisiana Lafayette, LA 70506 mccauley@usl.edu earching through the available web sites to find specific resources can be very difficult using available search engines. For this reason, the Computer Science Education Links site attempts to provide an organized starting point consisting of those sites that may be especially useful to computer science educators. This site currently consists of a collection of more than seventy entries classified into thirteen categories. Most of those categories are topic- or course-specific. In addition, the General Interests category is provided, which contains links to many wonderful on-line education-related resources that are not course-specific. A sampling of the resources available, which we sub-classify here, are now described. is to expose computer science students to much more than just the technical facts and techniques of the discipline. Specifically, the site includes pointers for all sorts of artifacts that contribute to the computing culture including nonacademic literature found in popular magazines and bestselling books, movies, newsletters, jokes, and cartoons.
