Object-oriented programming is a relatively new style for designing end implementing software systems. Various object-oriented programmlng languages are available. So, it's recognized the need of a new course whose central themes would be understanding the basic concepts of object-oriented programming and using a programming language for object-oriented problem solving. A course entitled "Object-Oriented Programming and C++" was taught for the first time in the autumn 1991 at the University of Sofia - Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics.
