This paper contains a suggested solution to the problems of implementing Ada in non-shared memory distributed systems for incorporation into Ada9X. The solution is based on three fundamental principles: firstly that there should be minimal disturbance to the existing Ada language definition; secondly that the security aspects of the language are not compromised; and thirdly that the requirements of implementors of distributed systems be met in full.
