Creating Excel Worksheets in APL+Win Eric Baelen Abstract This session will discuss how to work with Active Objects from APL+Win version 4.0, and in particular, how to control Microsoft Excel from an APL+Win session. It will show how to use the object hierarchy of Excel, and how to create a detailed spreadsheet, with formatting. Our Example Workbook We will use the following example Excel workbook in this session. It is a profit & loss report for a hypothetical company. It includes multiple worksheets, and a variety of data and formula cells, with specific formatting. Our examples will demonstrate how to create this spreadsheet from APL+Win. Characteristics of this Workbook are: 1. Oversized Heading on the first row of each page 2. Title line of Q1 to Yr Total Centered 3. Oversized first column 4.
