This research is oriented towards the development of process versions of descriptive theories of natural language. Present investigations are concentrating on the family of formal theories known as Montague Grammar, and especially on those derived from PTQ 4. These theories are the subject of active investigation by both linquists and philosophers, and the fundamental characteristics of these theories make them computationally attractive.
