Journals ACM SIGGRAPH Computer Graphics Volume 34 Issue 3

Scott Langs's spell as Director for Professional Chapters recently ended, but his legacy will live on in a strong organisation that is immensely popular, thanks in great part to the remarkable job Scott has been doing for the past five years. He has influenced not only the chapters, but also so many other aspects of SIGGRAPH life, and his leadership, generosity and commitment have served as tremendous examples to others involved in the organisation. I've benefited from his wisdom and help, and I wish him all the best in his future endeavours, and look forward to working with him again at some point in the future!Colleen Cleary will take on the responsibilities as Director for both the Professional and Student Chapters, and I know that she will do a tremendous job in not only continuing where Scott left off, but in making the position truly her own!Colleen suggested that it would be fitting to reprint Scott's farewell email in addition to the regular Chapters content, and I wholeheartedly agreed.
