(a) This organization will be called the Special Interest Group on Forth C'SIGForth") of the Association for Computing Machinery, Inc. ("The ACM"); it will be referred to herein as "the Group". (b) The scope of the Group's specialty is to promote the education, scientific, and technical interchange of information related to all aspects of the programming language Forth. (c) All activities of the Group will be consistent with the purposes of all SlGs listed in Bylaw 7 of the ACM. A r t i c l e 2. Charter. The group is a provisional SIG. It will cease to exist on June 30, 1990 unless the SIG Board extends the charter or converts the Group to a permanent SIG. A r t i c l e 3. Officers. (a) The Group's officers are the Chairman, the Vice-Chairman and the Secretary-Treasurer. The chairman is appointed by the President of ACM on the advice of the SIG Board's Chairman. The Chairman appoints the other officers with the
