Mansour Jersey Ci% A'ew Jersey HE APL FUTUaES WoamHov was held at the Minnowbrook Conference Center in Blue Mountain Lake, New York on October xo-13, 1995- The purpose of the conference was for implementers of Array Processing Languages such as APL, J, K and Nial to meet with users and discuss fiature enhancements. This is a by-invitation conference, with attendance restricted by limited space at this sequestered Adirondack conference center run by Syracuse University. The site has but one classroom, and a small number of lodging rooms. 38 people attended the conference--a healthy number for this conference. Implementor representatives from IBM, Dyadic Systems, Manugistics (and now FRS), Soliton, Iverson Software, J, K~ and Nial were present. Several hadependent consultants and consulting groups such as Lingo Allegro, Sykes Systems and Wolfpack were also represented. Additionally, the user community was represented by the Union Bank of Switzerland, Morgan Stanley, Legislate~ Sungard, Lafayette College, Security APL, and others. The workshop was divided into ten 1½-hour sessions during the during the four days of the conference--but informal group discussions of APL topics
