Journals ACM SIGAPL APL Quote Quad Volume 22 Issue 2

This article is the printed version of the report made at the annual Scientific and Practical Conference on APL, organized by the Union of Soviet APL Users for Soviet and foreign participants, which was held in April, 1991 in Leningrad, USSR. Some different aspects of APL representation in the Obninsk Post-graduate Extension School and the relation to it of a variety of specialists who studied there, are analyzed. The difficulties in APL utilization by Soviet users, their requirements, and a special view on the future of APL are shown.
