Procter Toronto, Ontario LEVENCONFERENCE AFrI~NDEESparticilated in this BOF (an APL "Birds of a Feather" conference session), where a number of issues related to employment and APL were discussed. This BOF picks up where a similar BOF session at APL93 left off, at which a number of ideas for improving the APL employment situation were discussed. I began by summarizing the APL93 BOF discussions, and the efforts which the Toronto APL SIG have made in the follow up to those ideas. Specifically, Toronto has implemented the "APL Skills Database" project, which consists of a service allowing employers to advertisejob information to an anonymous list of potential APL-skilled consultants or employees.
