Douglas is the best-selling author of a number of phenomenally successful books, including the Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy and Dirk Gently series -- the f o r m e r was also a successful radio and television series, and is currently in the process of making its way to the big screen. He is founding partner and chief fantasist of The Digital Village (TDV), a s o f t w a r e m u l t i m e d i a company based in England.
