The panelists wish SIGCSE forty-plus more years of commitment and energy from its members. This session is not an "I walked ten miles to school in the rain and snow..." session. We hope to entertain and enlighten the audience about the evolution of these important topics. Hopefully this information will be valuable to our younger colleagues as they move our organization forward. We also expect a lively discussion between our presenters and the audience, both pioneers in our field and those who represent our future. SUMMARY This special session will present a historical review of SIGCSE's role in curriculum
