This paper describes a flexible, nestable, exception mechanism for Forth. Different exception handlers may be defined for any portion of the application code, and may either abort or continue the application. A simple syntax of four new Forth words defines both the scope and the actions of each exception handler. The 68000 source code requires only three screens.
