Most (and we w o u l d hope all!) o f us do not want to t h i n k o f a world without SIGC H I . But, S I G C H I , like the field o f H C I and the world in general, is not static but must continue to evolve. In the past fourteen years, we have moved from a single conference on H C I to include, a m o n g others, C H I , UIST, C S C W , DIS, I W I U I , and VRST. We have moved from a society with a Bulletin as the only formal publication to one that supports interactions and Transactions on C H I as publications.
