Abstract
A survey of research opportunities and training strategies in departments of psychiatry revealed a fairly low number of research training opportunities. Also, the research didactics seem to be relatively short and lacking education in study design. Trainees are rarely required to submit a research protocol and/or initiate their own research project. The authors discuss the implications of these findings and make recommendations for improvement of research training.Preview Only.
