Abstract
Academic Psychiatry editors, editorial board members, and advisory board members have declared all forms of support received that may represent a competing interest in relation to their work for the Journal, as follows: Pedro L. Delgado, M.D., receives support from the National Institutes of Mental Health and CNS Response and is on scientific advisory boards for Eli Lilly and Company, Wyeth, Neuronetics, Lundbeck (Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited), and Smith-Kline Bio-Pharmaceuticals. Michael Jibson, M.D., is on the speakers bureau for AstraZeneca to market quetiapine, from which he derives 9.5% of his income, and receives royalties amounting to 0.7% of his income from Up-to-Date for writing educational materials on psychotic disorders and antipsychotic medications. Russell Lim, M.D., is on the speakers bureau for AstraZeneca and has received educational grants from Pfizer, Inc. and AstraZeneca. Teresita McCarty, M.D., is conducting a research study that is funded by the Stemmler Medical Research Fund, and extension of the not-for-profit National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME). William McDonald, M.D., reports Consultant/Speaker honorarium from Myriad, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Janssen and has received grant support from Boehinger Ingelheim and Neuronetics and was an investigator in a trial sponsored by Janssen.
